Today at the Cat Shelter
We did a lot of tasks and one of them was to clean the bathroom. We cleaned out the cat litter boxes, cleaned cat shelves, swept the floor, took out the trash, and cleaned out cat food cans. One of the students favorite part was seeing Duchess (black cat below) again and we got to meet a new one named June Bug (tabby cat below) and even got a lick from her.
We also went to go play with the kittens as an award for working so hard. There were only 3 left after the kitten shower but they were still adorable to play with. We were sad that there weren't more kittens but that is good because that means they went to good homes. That doesn't mean there won't be more because there are still 30 to 40 kittens in the back of the shelter that are still too young to be adopted.
