Today the Workability class went on a field trip to the BICAS  and we got to look at the different tools and bike parts. The class got to see how bikes work and being fixed and got to learn how the bikes were being fixed and taken apart to be  build into a new bike. We got to see the art room that they had and it was cool and we learned that the room use to be a freight elevator where trains dropped off supplies .

Hi my name is Tyler and my internship is at the Community Garden. The skills that I learned are to be prepared by bringing a lot of water. I have to learned how to use their equipment safely and I have to watch where my hands are touching because of spiders in the garden. I  had to learn how to use the shovel the right way. I learned how to plant the seeds and learned  the plants' names so that I know what i'm growing . I discovered the earth worms and had to ask why we have earth worms . I learned that the earth worms help the soil and they are good for turning compost into soil.
