Sun Tran

Sun Tran visited Workability today. They have 250 buses in Tucson. If you need any help you can ask the bus driver. They also have a Customer Service number is 520-628-1565 and they are open M-F 6 am-7 pm and Sat-Sun 8 am-5 pm. To ride the bus you must follow the rules. Here are some of the rules:
  • No fighting, smoking, or eating
  • No loud music
  • Never run after the bus. The driver is not allowed to stop after he has left the bus stop.
  • Listen to your bus driver
  • Respect other passengers (No loud cell phone conversations)
  • No bad language
  • If an elderly or disabled person needs a seat and you are sitting in the front of the bus, you will need to offer them your seat
  • If you leave something on the bus, you will need to call Lost and Found and make an appointment which can take a few days

Sun Tran Visit

Sun Tran visited us today and brought a bus. Before we rode on the bus, they let us know about how many buses are in Tucson and how many stops. There are 250 buses and over 2000 stops. We learned about planning your ride, when to be at the bus stop, and the rules you need to follow. They gave us each a schedule, map, card holder, and pen. It was my first time on a public bus. The seats were very comfortable and the air conditioning was nice. I have a lot of bus stops near my house so maybe one day I will learn how to ride the bus to work on my own!

Riding The Bus

Today at Workability was awesome! I've learned how to ride the public bus for my first time and I really liked it! The things I liked about it were... it was comfy, it was nice and cool and I got to explore a bit of Tucson. I also got to spend time with my friends! So today was awesome! And I wish we can do it again sometime. :)
