My short terms jobs that are easier to get are Barista, Retail at the mall, courtesy clerk, Server, Humane society. I would like to get a job right away- Brenda office-job, cook, caring for cats, bussing tables, cleaning jobs- Emily Movie theater worker, Bookman's, Truck Driver, Barista, Crisis Professional These are my top 5 job picks. -L we went to Tucson coffee roasters to interview a barista to find out what it is like to to work there.- Darrien
She told us about when you are behind a coworker, let hem know by touching their shoulder or saying, "I'm behind you." - Brenda She was helpful and friendly -Emily I loved how the employees make cold brew. They put coffee grounds in a bucket, fill it up with water and leave it for 24 hours. My impression was that this job didn't seem right for me as I need a slower pace.-Levi Helping people with addictions is my ultimate goal for a job. I have had addiction issues myself and i know that being free of them is one of the best feelings in the world. Workability is one way to learn that having a good time doesn't mean I have to be altered by anything, it's fun on its own!
I am excited about learning new lessons. I practiced bussing tables. It was fun. The table was full of glasses, silverware and rice. I was pretty good. I did it calmly and quickly.
We sold coffee tea and smoothies. we sold them to the ucp employees. l learned customer service skills.- Darrien
