The blog for today is about my trip to the bus station. At 9:06 we boarded the bus and went on our way to the Ronstandt Center downtown. The bus stop was filled with people smoking and hanging out. I noticed a woman on the bus with a hoodie on and it scared me. There were a couple rules on the bus such as no food or drink allowed. You have to stay in your seat until the bus comes to a complete stop. The driver was very focused on the road. The people across from us were talking amongst themselves. I noticed that a lot of people stared when we took pictures. Waiting for the bus seemed like a long time and I also noticed a man staring at me but he moved on to another part of the bus. I was quiet on the way back. That was my adventure on the bus today.
Today, I took my very first trip on the Sun Tran city bus to downtown. We stopped at a small supermarket, although I pretty much don’t remember the name of it, but what I remember was that it is a small little area. We only had to pay $1.50 per trip from here to Downtown, which sounds pretty better than just taking a taxi to spend more money (minus Discount Cab). At first, I was a little nervous, because I was worried that I might get robbed, or mugged, and it would be filled with strangers. However it turned out just fine and pretty safe on the trips there and back. There were rules saying no eating, drinking, or smoking on the bus and had ramps for people who prefer to just stand or couldn’t fine any place to sit. The bus was pretty diverse and had many different types of people coming on board.
