I LIKED learning about the eating food like the healthy foods fruit smoothies . And sleep i thought was important to because we need it depending on our work schedule . but if its night shifts then its hard. you have to sleep different hours . and today we talked about focuses like what helps you focus more. and how to get better on what problems we had with focus. and we learned about networking and what part of it means like meeting people and social media
It's not enough to say you are looking for a job. You have to contract people. You have to go into the place you apply and talk directly to them.
When you go in to a business, you can find out what is available. Even if they are not hiring if they like you they can possibly refer you to someone who is.
What I learned today was it is important to work as a team because you will get better quality of work done. When you work on a team tasks are completed more quickly. If you complete your task always ask a team member if they need help.
This week the class and I started to do some assigned tasks to see if we can do a job given to us.
So far its been helpful to see what we can improve on, two days ago I did some basic landscaping where I took some palm leaves to the trash and they were sharp so i was graded on how safely i was able to discard of the palm leaves and i did very good.
The day after that I was told to clean the dirty spots in the janitors closet also I had to rinse the mop tubs, and throw away the dirty mop heads I believe I did good.
Today I was told to clean the bathroom but I do that all the time at home so I aced that on that note I feel like Workability is really helping and I hope to find a job after this.
first thing first make sure that you are mentally prepared for the social net work that you will be making
at your job the first step is to familiarize yourself with the work place as well as the people that work their also you need to show your fellow employee and supervisor's that you want to be their go to the social events and meetings if you can. All i'm saying is try to prepare for the job practice saying whats on your resume without taking it out of you folder make sure to look presentable for the interview
their are two ways to go about geting a job one way is to go online and look at a work application the other way is to go to the office and sign the application and make a appointment with the manager.
Now in this day most people are depressed about something or other but their are ways of dealing with it 1 Deep Breath taking deep breaths will help you to not do one of
two reactions physical violence or suicidal actions
2 Don't close off your emotions it is the thebest thing to do especially when your young because people will keep a distance and that can not happen at the work place im not saying to be over emotional but balance them out
3 When coworkers are annoy you and you can't stand it stand up and walk to your managers office and ask them if you can take a 5 to 10 minute break to walk around
and cool off.
The ball activity was confusing a first but once Lisa explained what the ball and the balloon represented it was clear to me.
What she said was that the ball and the balloon represented was how we react to a difficult situation.When I threw the ball at the wall it bounced back just like some people when they have a bad time they come back and try again.
but when I threw the balloon it just splatted on the wall and when it did that it got on people just like if we were to throw a tantrum it will affect other people on how they they think of you.
Overall this experiment was very interesting.

in a work place it is always important to always keep eye contact show that you are paying attention to the supervisor or your fellow coworkers be sure to dress the right way.
how to keep your job
for everyone who wants to keep or advance in the work place it is a manner of flexibility some have it down already but some will struggle at it don't give up because you will regret it later always be positive because being negative will get you nowhere.
We talked about how no matter what the obstacle, you can bounce back. Never give up.
1. I believe that we do the training stations so we can see what we know and what we can improve on
2. The training station that I enjoy is the courtesy clerk position because its something I have done before and I am comfortable with it
1. So when I go get a job, I already have some skills.
2. I like filing and answering the phone. I like doing it because I had done it before, but it had been a while though. It was the first time I had cleaned a bathroom, but there's a first time for everything I guess.
