Interviews-Shayley

Today in workability we have interviews for the jobs we want to work for. I applied for LA Fitness to be a daycare assistant. Before my interview I researched the company and found out they were founded  in Southern California  in 1984 they continue to seek more company growth. I really enjoy talking in my interview about how much I know about the company and that I research before going into the interview.

Things you should do in a interview?

1. Research the job before going in a interview.
2. Dress professional.
3. Print out your resume.
4. Show eye contact.

Things you shouldn't do in a interview?
1.Don't talk about your personal life
2. Don't  look away when they are talking to you.
3. Don't chew gum in your interviews.

Today we went to Bicas and we took pictures of the bikes. We also took groups pictures as a class and a guy gave us a tour of the place. It was cool, that they help people fixes their bikes. I really like that they have art and that the place was very colorful.

Hi my name is Shayley. I intern at Fuel which is a restaurant in the REC at the U of A. I am trained to do many things like work the register, make smoothies, and other food. My favorite part of this internship is all the experience I am gaining. I hope the skills I am learning will help me when I try to be a dance teacher or work in a office. My job deals with people so I think the customer skills I have will make me perfect for one of these jobs.
