Today was the last day of our week 8 of the semester and of our curriculum about PROFESSIONALISM. We have approached learning about this subject in many ways and the girls seemed to have gotten a grasp on it- even if the word itself seems to be a bit of a tongue twister!
Today we also joined forces with the Nubia's class and we had an outing at TRAK. We were able to receive a tour of the ranch as well as get some hands on tasks to complete on site! The girls really seemed to enjoy getting up close and personal with some of the animals. They really seemed to enjoy the dogs and cats on the premises more than some of the bigger animals they house there! I thought this was quite funny! When we returned, we had a bit of time to cool off with some cold treats and snacks as we got to know one another and discussed our topic of Professionalism as well! Everyone did a great job getting along!
Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of your childs life and experience this portion of their job readiness with them. I know they're have a seamless transition with Nubia as we have come to work with her class enough for them to become super familiar and excited to have her in class! I wish them all the best and I can't wait to see them finish the class successfully!
