Professionalism is doing something that needs to be done even if you weren't told to do it. A professional employee is a highly prized worker. Doing the right thing is very important. For example, an unprofessional man is working at the front desk at a hotel. The man will park in the guest or visitor space, make a sloppy appearance, has a improper uniform maintenance, and will ignore approaching guests. a another example is a man is walking towards the front desk of the unprofessional man, the man ask for a key to one of the hotel rooms, the unprofessional man hands over one of the keys but doesn't ask for the man's ID, later the unprofessional man see the same man walks by the front desk holding a laptop, this man has stolen the laptop from one of the rooms, the unprofessional man doesn't see this as a crime and does not call the police. don't be the unprofessional man he is a nincompoop!
