Direct is a corporation that helps people with disability they teach them budgeting’ and other skills that will help with independent living they have cooking class (healthy) bus training.
When living on your own it is important to carefully budget your paycheck so you can buy stuff you need like food and utilities for your home/apartment.  Keep watch on when your cell phone plan bill is due and the same can be said about your internet bill.

Saving money and budgeting

12/1/2015

In this chaotic economy cash is hard to come by and that is why we go out and get jobs. The jobs we choose will only get us so far, so it is up to us to properly save and budget our money. Here are some steps to help with that:
  1. Don’t be fooled into buying stupid stuff.
  2. Always buy the cheapest thing on the market
  3. Only go out to eat when there is a special event
  4. If the need arises go and buy what is needed not what you what
  5. Only buy the bare necessities
Follow these rules and you will live a good life where you are not in debt and owing other people money!

ADVICE on Transportation

You must always figure out the right bus route that you’re looking for.
You must have the exact bus fare which is $1.50 if you don’t and you pay with a 5 dollar bill you will not get change back.
When sitting in the front of the bus if an elderly woman or a woman with a baby comes on the bus it is courteous to give up your seat.
When you see your stop you pull the cord and that will signal the driver to stop so you can get off.

The Importance of Sleep and Good Dieting

We discussed that sleep is the most important part of your life because you spend the majority of your life sleeping regrettably but it is instinctual. We talked about calories and sugars that we ingest every day to get the energy we need however that does not mean you can chug a monster for that small boost.

I liked it when Hanna’s Husband Mr. Mason came in and explained his job. Mr. Mason works at the popcorn country store and is  vice manager he and his coworkers start work at 9:00 to 3:00 Mr. Mason came to our class and talked with us about his job. Mr. Mason talked to us about how his company ships their product to different shops. He was also generous enough to bring us samples and it was very nice of him to do that.

Getting and applying for a job-RJ

For all people who want to survive in this world, it is painfully obvious that we need jobs. But some might say oh but how does one get a job, well it’s quite simple. First, if you have a computer at your home that’s great, but if not don’t worry there are places where you have access to computers such as libraries or learning facility’s. When you have access to a computer start a roster of jobs and list them. Try to look into each of them, who knows maybe one of the job you jotted down will be your chosen job. Keep trying and never give up hope. Look, all I can do is give you people advice but is up to you to use the information I give. Please use your brain and make the best choices that you can make.

Awful weather conditions for work in Arizona-Rj

10/13/2015

1. It is customary to start work early between 4 and 6, wear loose fit clothing that covers your arms and legs, have a hat made of mesh, carry numerus water bottles, and wear sun block.
2. Temperatures will rise rapidly. Must drink a ½ gallon of water every day, or risk heat stroke. If you don’t wear sun block you will either get sun burned. You could be at risk of getting skin cancer.
