Imagine you are at work and you see your coworker. You say hi and then tell your guy friends that she's looking hot today and she overhears you. Is that professional? Ummm no. Was there a consequence? Yep! It would be really hard for her to function normally being harassed in this manner. That being said, professionalism at work is a very important issue today. It is so crucial to businesses because they could lose a lot of customers due to employees acting like dorks....and that means losing money. Making a good impression with your coworkers and treating them well is equally important. If you have respect, everything else will generally fall into place.
